The name vulpecula collective was preceded by a long search for a suitable name for our artistic association.

Soon after we met during acting training, we internally referred to our trio as foxes. Even if we can no longer understand with absolute certainty the specific origin of this name, the associations that this animal aroused in us probably played a central role: we shared a subtle strength with the foxes that may not be apparent at first glance but reveals itself step by step. We also recognized the decisive advantage of being able to plan and implement our projects in peace and quiet, unobserved by others. Since we wanted to include the beginnings of our common path in our name, we stayed true to the image of the fox while looking for a suitable name.

As if by chance, at some point we came across the constellation of the little vixen (Latin: vulpecula), whose characteristics we were immediately attracted to: Because of its dimly lit stars, the little fox initially appears inconspicuous, but in the truest sense of the word it shouldn't be underestimated because it is located in the center of the Milky Way and contains valuable astronomical objects.

This constellation seemed to be incredibly similar to us in its characteristics and therefore suitable to represent our collective like no other symbol.

Because that's what we want to be: a collective of aspiring artists who implement their visions in a participatory, collaborative and equal manner. It is only the coming together of many different particles that make stars shine. Our collective also strives for expansion and enrichment through diverse perspectives. Growth is essential - the universe shows us how to do it with its infinite expanse. We also want to grow and give more and more people space to express themselves artistically. Despite all the desired quantitative growth, we never want to forget our artistic demands and the depth of our concerns. This is what the vulpecula collective stands for.
