our Motivation
At the beginning of our journey into the stars there was a deep crisis that not only affected us: The corona pandemic kept the whole world in suspense and brought large parts of cultural life to a standstill. We were just starting out as actresses and it wasn't long since we completed our training. The exact moment we wanted to take off artistically, we were brought back down to earth. Planned productions were canceled and new offers failed to materialize. In the midst of this crisis, we slowly understood that we could no longer make our artistic work dependent on factors that were out of our hands. And this, by no means, only affected the Corona crisis: As actresses - depending on the production - we had little influence on what kind of stories were told and in what form our faces would be used. It happened more and more often that we had to reject offers because we simply could not morally support them, regardless of whether it was due to the story itself or the way it was artistically implemented and staged. Among other things, we were confronted with racist and sexist content.
We wanted to play, but not at any cost.
If, due to a variety of factors, the industry didn't offer us enough opportunities to adequately express ourselves artistically, then we had to take matters into our own hands and reach for the stars.
